  3. I'm so sorry for your loss. This blog is a wonderful idea. I'm a friend of Kent's sister, Michele, in Mesa. She's an awesome lady and I know she comes from a great family, as evidenced by all I see and read here. Please take care and know that so many more people than you are aware of have your family in their prayers.

  4. I am so sorry for your loss. Your parents are wonderful people, and I am praying for your father's speedy recovery. Your mother was my Beehive leader in Antioch, and I just loved her and respected her so much. She was a lovely, classy lady, an exceptional musician, and a great example to me and all whose lives she touched. I still can't believe she has moved on, but I know she had great faith and testimony which she shared with us, and I have faith that I will see her again one day. Thank you for sharing her with us (her YW), and for this blogspot so we can be updated. My thoughts, prayers, and love are with all of you - sincerely.

  5. We're John and Nydia Harris. We were your Dad's mission presidents in the Argentina Buenos Aires North Mission. We have been kept informed about this very, very sad accident of your parents by another returned missionary of ours and her husband, Julia and Steve Thomson and now by this blog. My husband was able to talk over the phone with one of your Dad's counselors in the stake presidency as well a week ago. We had tried to comment in this blog before but hadn't been sucessful till now. We want to express our love for both your beautiful Mom and for your Dad whom we love dearly. He was John's assistant when we first arrived to the mission in Buenos Aires and we have always been able to keep in touch from a distance since mostly we have lived abroad most of our lives. We just returned from our last assigment abroad, in Israel. Your dad had e-mailed us recently. We deeply feel for the loss of your dear Mom. While your Dad was on his mission she would always send to him cards and letters very creative and made with different candy bars. We were at BYU about the same time they still were at the Y upon our return as mission presidents.

We want you to know that you and your Dad are in our daily prayers, we fasted for Kent last week. We thank you so much for in the midst of your pain and grieving you keep us all informed about the progress and state of your Dad's health which is so important to us.

When things are more stable for him, probably my husband will come to California to visit him but of course we'll wait till you give us the ok to do that.

We have been in hospitals ourselves a lot lately for health reasons as well and we understand well that the most important thing of all is for your Dad to recuperate and feel better which is what we are praying for. We do pray that the Lord's blessings be with him and also with each one of you, their dear children. Our hearts go out to you at this time in your lives and we want you to know that if there is anything that we could do we are more than happy to do so.

Your Dad has always been a great man, very, very special whom we love and admire very much. May the Lord's outpouring of blessings be with him now.

    All our love,

    John and Nydia Harris
