Update on Kent #2

Great news: the tube in Dad's chest was removed today. He also slept much more today than he did yesterday, thanks to a more merciful dosage of pain medication. He is able to write out messages on a pad of paper, and this allows us to do a better job at keeping him comfortable (although his handwriting is now even worse than his pre-accident undecipherable scribbles). He keeps the nurses in line, asking things like, "How many CC's of saline am I getting?"

  1. Hi, I´m glad to read that Kent is better. We (family) feel so sad about Kathy. We recently share a dinner in Buenos Aires, Argentina...we want to send our greetings to Jason (he meet us in that ocassion) and the rest of the brothers. My mail is: ricbritos@datafull.com I was the administrative Assistant to Ronald V. Stone (Kathy´s father) when he was MTC President in Argentina. Saludos a todos! y nuestras condolencias. Esperamos la pronta recuperaciĆ³n de Kent.

  3. Dear Wood cousins, and Uncle Kent,
I just don't even know what to say--We are shocked and grief-stricken over the loss of your mother and wife and our sweet Aunt Kathy. Keny & Kathy were such a team, I just can't imagine your Dad having to endure the rest of this life without her. But I know that even in her brief time, Aunt Kathy has been a tremendous influence for good for all those who came in contact with her. Please know that we are praying for you all and thinking of you constantly. Thanks for keeping us updated on Uncle Kent's recovery. We'll be seeing you soon, I'm sure.

    all our love and prayers,
    Sharee & Arthur
